The Hudson Valley has inspired many writers, including painters, poets, essayists, and novelists. The region's diversity, beauty, and sophistication have made it a source of inspiration for centuries. Being her earliest stomping grounds, Chrisann no doubt absorbed this magic, and carried it with her always and many years after her career in the fashion industry in New York City she created what she wanted, not what was dictated by others.  She earned her degree in fine art and illustration from Columbus College of Art and Design. Her experience encompasses all art expression visual and performing art. Keeping many plates spinnig at once, she was a textile designer, book illustrator, and songwriter simultaneously. This is a refreshing transition, where she has come home to herself. A home with many varied corridors and rooms from the salon to the attic, to the mysterious basement. All filled with magic and intrigue. Here in this imaginarium she can spend time with her two children and laugh and love  in peace and harmony and explore the mysteries of this world with childlike imagination.
